Find buyers

Find the US companies already importing your product

Not a longer list of 'potential' contacts. Named importers that appear in shipment records for what you sell — ranked by fit, recency, and how reachable they look.

The job

Stop guessing who buys. Start from who already did.

Every sea shipment into the United States leaves a public record naming the company that received the goods. That record is the closest thing to proof that a company buys a particular product — and in its raw form it is close to unusable. Portaxo turns the paperwork into a ranked buyer list you can work.

01

Describe the product in plain language

“Coffee grinders”, “LED panel lights”, or a short sentence. Portaxo resolves that into the phrasing customs filings actually use — which is rarely the phrase a seller would choose.

02

Get ranked importers, not a dump of records

Each company shows shipment volume, last shipment date, size band, product mix, and how focused it is on your category. Freight forwarders that look like buyers get flagged so they do not sit at the top of your list by accident.

03

Open the company, find people, send from your mailbox

Verified website, trading partners, and contact discovery live next to the shipment evidence. Outreach runs from your own Gmail or Outlook — no CSV export required to start a conversation.

What you see

Evidence you can argue with

A score without a reason is marketing. Portaxo shows the shipment history and product mix behind each ranking so you can decide whether the company is worth an email.

Size bands

Micro, small, mid, large — so you can prefer a reachable specialist over a giant that buys everything.

Buyer vs trader

Classifier labels when a company looks like a forwarder or consolidator, with the sentence that decided it.

Suppliers they already use

See who ships to them today. Useful for competitive displacement — and for honesty about who already owns the account.

Questions

Straight answers

How do I find companies that import my product into the US?

Describe the product in plain language. Portaxo works out how US customs paperwork files that product — which is rarely the wording a seller would use — and returns the American companies whose shipment records match, ranked by product fit and how recently they shipped.

How is this different from buying a lead list?

A lead list is usually built from industry tags or directory categories. Portaxo only returns companies that appear in US import records for that product. The evidence is a shipment, not a label someone assigned years ago.

Can I focus on small and mid-size importers?

Yes. Every company is labelled by lifetime shipment volume: micro under 250, small up to 999, mid up to 4,999, and large above that. A small importer that spends most of its imports on one product is usually a better first email than a retail giant.

Is there a free way to try this?

Yes. Portaxo's free plan includes 30 credits a month and needs no card. Credits are spent on discovering companies for a product category and unlocking contacts; browsing what you have already found is free.
